Spices can make you healthy

Spices are rich in various vitamins and minerals. Especially is vitamin C and B complex and calcium, potassium, sodium, and phosphorus. One effort the use of spices traditionally is in the form of drinks.

For examples is nusantara drinks from Indonesia. Nusantara drinks should be counted as a functional beverage is wedang ginger, wedang cup, wedang round, kencur rice, turmeric, tamarind, sekoteng, bandrek, and sherbet.

Some properties beverage made from the spices are: triggering antioxidant activity, hypoglycemic (lowering blood sugar in diabetics), lower blood pressure (hipotensif), enhancing the immune system (imunomodulator), blood clotting, allergy, anticancer, effect on hormone system, and have an effect on behavior and intelligence.

Other components are afrosidiak (causing arousal and sexual power), astringen (regulate blood flow through the contraction of blood vessels), diuretics (urine disposal launched), expectorant (mucus discharge launched)
